About Me
Web Designer · Digital Publisher
I'm Katalina — a Florida-based web designer and digital publisher building websites that feel warm, considered, and unmistakably yours. I work with small businesses, creatives, and independent brands who want a site that does more than just exist online: one that actually reflects who they are and what they do.
My path into web design started in newsrooms at UCF, where I learned to write with clarity and respect the reader's time. From there, I picked up the layout, design, and digital publishing side of the craft while pursuing my Digital Publishing certificate at State College of Florida. The result is a way of working that pairs editorial precision with a designer's care for how something feels.
Outside of design, I teach yoga and work with kids in a Montessori classroom — both of which have taught me how to listen well, hold space, and explain hard things simply. Those are the same instincts I bring to client work: patience, clarity, and a deep belief that good design starts with understanding the person on the other side of the screen.
How I like to work
- Custom, responsive websites — no cookie-cutter templates
- Clean code with HTML, CSS, and modern web standards
- A collaborative process where your voice leads the design
- Editorial-level attention to copy, layout, and detail
Outside of the studio
- Deep in a sci-fi book or out on a hiking trail
- Finding flow on my yoga mat
- Traveling whenever I can — building remote-friendly is the dream
- Perfecting the art of the Irish goodbye at social gatherings
